We have discussed replacing our Lunch 'n Learns with after hours "Mixers".  Our hope is that more people will be available to attend and that it will be a more laid back opportunity to socialize and network. We would like to do these Mixers at your local businesses to give y'all an opportunity to show case your business. If you would like to host a Mixer, please contact the Chamber so we can get you on our calendar.

All of our board members are very community focused, so we have discussed a variety of ways to provide service opportunities within the community. The simplest option we have come up with is to ask our local businesses to be "donation locations" for community members to drop off goods. For the summer, we would like to do a school supply and kids' clothing drive.  We can provide donation tubs and pick up and deliver as needed. This will also fulfill one of our other goals of increasing foot traffic at your businesses. Home based businesses could participate by raising funds on their websites.  All donated items will be given to FISD to distribute to local children in need.  Please contact the Chamber if you would like to be one of our "donation locations".
