It's almost time for the 18th Annual South Texas Home and Garden Show

This event is one of our favorite events each year. Not only is it a great family friendly event for our community, but it's also a lot of fun! It brings us great joy to be able to see the community come together and teach children and we grownups too about the importance of our great farming community and the joys of gardening and beautification within our community.

It's also an opportunity for the Chamber of Commerce to raise funds for operations and to continue to do great things for our businesses and our community. We are very honored to be asked to participate again.

This year our goal going into the event, was to bring on some local business or individual sponsors that would be willing to help us with the cost of the supplies for the event. This would allow the profit from this event to go to the important things that we do as listed above.

We have created 3 tiers of sponsorship opportunities for the concession stand sponsorship

Daisy Sponsorship - $100

Daisy Sponsorship would receive an 8X10 sign in the concession area and would be recognized often through our email membership distribution and our Facebook page. All sponsors names will be included on a sticker placed on the food containers.

Carnation Sponsorship - $150

Carnation Sponsor would receive a larger yard size sponsorship sign in the concession area all of the items listed on the Daisy Sponsorship.

Rose Sponsorship - $200

Rose Sponsor would receive everything from the Carnation Sponsorship and would also receive a scheduled Facebook live visit with you at your place of business.

All sponsors would also be encouraged to bring us their business cards or collateral for their business which would also be displayed at the event near our concession stand.

An invoice will then be generated and emailed to you for payment. Please also include a picture or jpeg of what you would like us to use to promote your business for signage and marketing.

Please send your request to participate to Lora by Friday March 14th so that we have time to get your signs made. All yard signs will be displayed on the Chamber grounds after the event ends.

Any business cards or collateral can be dropped off at the H&R Block location at 91910th Street Suite 117 in Floresville (office hours are Monday - Friday 9AM-6PM and Saturday from 9AM-5PM), The Flower Basket located at 1127 C Street in downtown Floresville (office hours are Monday - Friday 9AM-5PM and Saturday 9AM-12PM) if sign says closed or out for delivery, please feel free to place items in the mailbox right by the door or you can also drop off items at the Chamber office. Monday and Wednesday 9AM-4PM and Friday 10AM-4PM.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with the event, both for the Garden Show and the concession stand, so if you would like to volunteer or have high school students that need volunteer hours, please contact Anette at the Chamber office @ 830-251-0944.
